New Ultra-Direct Extruder

With the redesigned Ultra-Direct Extruder, you'll feel the fine details after printing 5 times faster. The shortened distance between the extruder and nozzle reduces errors and improves control. At the same time, an algorithm refined in more than 2,000 tests in the AnkerMake lab analyses and adjusts the extrusion.

3.1X Extrusion

Higher multi-stage transmission ratio

The foundation for high-speed pressure is the improved multistage gear system with a reduction ratio 9.37 and torque of 0.8 N-m. The strong torsion exerts pressure on the melt chamber to accelerate extrusion.

1.5X melting capacity

Larger heating block

The 60W heating block quickly raises the nozzle temperature to 392°F (200°C) with 1.5X the efficiency of other printers. The heat ensures filament flows smoothly when printing at 250mm/s at high speed.

1.3X cooling

More air intake volume

The dual cooling system uses two fans to expel 1.3 times the air volume of other printers at maximum speed. Cooling avoids stringing and ensures the model cools quickly.

Integrated die-cast aluminium alloy

The integrated die-cast aluminium alloy structure and Z-axis design increase the base's weight and lower the device's centre of gravity. The design makes the pressure more stable for high speed and turbo acceleration. This also reduces base installation errors and improves printer accuracy.

The M5 has two processors, including the XBurst CPU for intelligent 3D printing and the Marlin CPU for routine processing. With the added power, the M5 keeps track of your prints so your model matches your design.

Avoid cable clutter and multiple scattered devices with 1 clean, cohesive design. M5 consists of the base and gantry frame, and the Z-axis design hides all dangling cables from your eyes.

7x7 Auto Leveling

With 7x7 auto-levelling, your prints get accuracy. Sophisticated algorithms calculate a virtual height map to get your print started right. You only need to manually adjust when you change something major like the nozzle or the soft magnetic PEI steel plate.

Bendable and scratch-resistant plates

No matter how big or small a print is, the scratch-resistant PEI soft magnetic steel plate can be easily removed by bending it slightly after cooling. And with the magnetic design of the heated bed, you can easily remove and reattach the print sheet.

Print status notifications

You can choose how you want to know when something changes on your 3D print. See an LED light 10 meters away, hear a beep, or receive an app notification.
